Pookie is 1 today

My baby is a year old today..I can't believe how fast time has gone by..I have to take her to the Doctor tommarow for her shots...oh how I hate those. We are having her party on Saturday as long as it doesn't rain....I don't seem like it should be a year already. I better go a storms a comin'....I feel like Dorothy....

Great Grandpa's Visit

So Great Grandpa came to Visit us at the beginning of the month. It was nice to see him. Just still weird that Great Grandma is gone....Here are some pictures from his visit. It was for 2 weeks but WOW the time went too fast.

We went to the Zoo and the Historical Farm and Amish Country. It was a really nice visit.

Summer time blues

Ok i think Summer time blues has new meaning for the stay-home Mommy...dont get me wrong..I love my Kids but WOW....I'm going crazy....Everyday it's what are we doing fun today...and with gas prices they way they are I can only take them to so many places without having to make a secong mortgage off the house...LOL...and Vacuming the house and cleaning the bathrooms you can only make exciting the first time...after that it's just plain ol' cleaning...YUCK!!!
So my Hubby bought us a pool since the girls were spoiled in Caily with the Pool in our Apartment complex...So now it's can we do swimming very 5 seconds....I guess i can never win...LOL....

The Carnival is finally over.....WOW that was a crazy week....jewell was a super trooper and did very well for a baby her age...not cranky at all...i was at the school all week last week getting things ready working at the bok fair and the Carnival on Friday night...
now it's planning jewell's birthday on 6/28 and getting ready for great-grandpa's visit 6/4 - 6/18....well i better get back to house-cleaning to make up for last week...

2) cleaned the house and picked the kids up from school along with the 2 that i babysit after school
3) surfed the internet after the kids went to bed and did some thinsg for the upcoming carnival at Deliah's school on the 16th

Today I....
1) went yard saleing this morning and found some cool stuff
2) went to Target to get butt covers///AKA Dipares for the baby
3) surfing on the net while the baby is napping and james took the girls out shopping

Tomorrow I will...
1) I have no idea...it's mother's day to if we are doing anything i dont know
2) get the kids ready for the week
3) Watch some tv with James after the kids are in bed....

In the next year I may...
1) be going crazy as the Volunteer cordinator for the PTO at the school
2) maybe planting some flowers next spring in the back yard
3) trying to get a mini second honeymoon or any alone time with James would be nice...but planning things never seem to work,,,,stuff always changes so just have to wait and see....

Cinco de Mayo

Yep thats today and i have a PTO, which is the same as PTA, meeting today. We are having a mexican food pot luck so i'm super busy cooking. I'm from Caily, i grew up on mexican food, so i have to bring something super yummy!!!! I'm making home made Taqitoes and Gucamole and Salsa. Sorry I cant spell in English so what makes you think spanish words are any diffrent ,,LOL well i better get back to cooking...much love....

working extra hard....

So i'm in overdrive in my efforts to lose weight..I did 100 crunches on my Ab Longe yesterday morning then another 50 when Jewell took her nap, then when the girls went to bed i went for a walk it was .8 of a mile. Today i havent done much but i did paint the hallway upstairs. I'll go on the walk again tommarrow....every other day so i dont over do it....I just hope it works soon....

According to this heigh predictor I found online Deliah will be 5'8 at age 18 and Jordyn will be 5'6 at age 18....I guess we'll have to wait and see huh...LOL

I'm 30 YUCK!!!

Ok well it's been a while now but I still don’t feel like I should be 30. Did I mention YUCK it just sounds old to me...maybe because my mind is still mentally a teenager which is never good, I don’t know for sure. At least I can say I don’t feel old. Not all the time...LOL...
I took the girls to see High School Musical being performed by Pickerington High School North for my birthday just a girl’s night. They totally loved it. And so did I seeing them enjoy theater. That’s where the pics where taken before the show started.
I also started really working out last week that’s been hard and I’m sore all the time but I still just don’t feel like I should be 30 already...where did the time go...I still cant believe it's almost been 2 years that we have lived here in Ohio. maybe being preggers the 1st year made it seem to fly by...or that fact that Jewell is 10 months already...it's just flying by I wish time would just slow down a bit. I DON’T MY TEENAGE daughters anytime soon…I’m just not ready for that yet…Deliah will be 10 this November..YUCK double YUCK

Finish a Book

Ok so I just finished reading "Sweethearts" by Sara Zarr. It all started when I was desperate to find something to read because I do that at night before I go to sleep. It’s like my own quite time no kids no James, just me…
So I was at the library with Jordyn and went to the Teen section because the Twilight books are kept there and I just like to see what’s on display. So I picked this book I Kidd you not it was just because of the cute heart cookie on the cover....I know judging a book by the cover...so bad... I didn’t know anything about the story or the author just the cute cover is why it was picked.
Well anyways...I actually really liked it...no Jess you WON’T because it's in 1st person and oddly the parents are horrible....but I liked it. maybe I’m making up for the lack of reading as a teenager now that’s why I’m reading al these YA books...or it's just that my attention span is very limited on time unless it's something for my kids....but either way I liked this book and I could relate to it a bit....would I want my daughter to read it....well I’m really not looking forward to having my girls as teenagers, and I think it's just better no to think about them as teens yet for my own sanity. but like I said I enjoyed it but now I’m bookless again and will be going crazy if I don’t find anything soon....any suggestions are appreciated...
I'm trying to have the girls see me read for fun more too, to help encourage them to do it as well....lead by example right!!! Well I’m trying really I am...
